Getting Things that are Awesome for Awesome Prices is Awesome

I've been looking for a coffee table or a couple of small tables that would serve side-by-side as a coffee table.  I found some coral lacquered tables (on clearance) on Target.com and knew I'd found gold.  I bought two.  They look beautiful against the grey couch, and they're dainty and shiny and I can move them around to suit my whims.

What I didn't know is that there is a designer version that is $702.  I literally paid less than a tenth of that for each table.  I found this out while browsing Copy Cat Chic, which is a great blog for people who love things that are awesome but don't have huge budgets (like me).

And that is why I love Target.

Once again, this is not a paid endorsement, but I really should work on getting some of those. Am I right?

Also, I didn't include a photo of the tables in my living room, because there is a pile of mate-less socks under one of them, a pair of Toms under the other one, and my rug needs vacuuming.  I know you understand.  My new living room rug is coming today, and I think I'm going to move the extra (hoarder) couch into the guest room as soon as I can paint that room, so once the living room is looking better, I'll let you see all the new stuff that's going on in there.

  1. Sorry Shan - I'm currently in Target limbo - they're close to cancelling a pre-order for an item I placed 2 weeks ago and while their customer service is friendly enough, they rarely get the desired results. The trend w/ them is to expect less, pay more. And really, I guess I should be upset with myself. Fool me twice. (this isn't the first time Target has cancelled on me).

    1. Wow - I've never had that problem before. That's unfortunate. :(
